The world of black and white, and how contrast affects our photos, was our main topic for the April meeting! We focused on how to capture great shots with this camera setting and explored options in editing. To help us feel inspired we discussed the work of the late photographer Ansel Adams. Time was on our side so we even discussed the differences between taking pictures and being a digital photographer. This will lead us to taking the next step in our journey!
Please bring the following to this meeting:
Camera, preferably one with a setting for taking b&w shots
Manual, for answering questions about settings
Notebook and pen
Photo to share - you can use the spark words for inspiration or something with spring
Ideas for finding shots to match the spark words:
Popping - Think of flowers or plants that seem to have buds ready to "pop", anything that is growing in a dramatic way
Burst - Vivid colors or patterns, something that grabs your attention
